Police say a 14-year-old boy is expected to live after being struck by a car in a school zone in Toronto.
Witnesses say the boy was hit while crossing the road in front of Rockcliffe Middle School, in the St. Clair and Jane area.
The driver of the vehicle stuck around and it's unclear if speed was a factor.
But just this past week, the province opened the door to allow municipalities to install photo radar in school and community safety zones.
