Canada is preparing for a royal visit to mark our country's 150th birthday.
The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall are scheduled to land in Iqaluit Thursday on a Canadian Forces Airbus.
This is the 18th visit to Canada for Prince Charles and the fourth for his wife Camilla. They will be greeted by dignitaries including Governor General David Johnston and Nunavut Premier Peter Taptuna.
After a packed schedule in Iqaluit, Charles and Camilla will move on Friday to CFB Trenton and Prince Edward County in eastern Ontario.
The couple will also mark the 150th anniversary of Confederation on Parliament Hill, where Charles is expected to deliver remarks.
The visit is especially exciting for a pair of Brampton business owners.
Daniel and Renata Lewis own T by Daniel in the city's downtown. They've been invited to serve tea to Prince Charles tomorrow at an undisclosed location.
Daniel tells NEWSTALK 1010's Moore in the Morning, the invitation came about through his work with Prince's Charities Canada.
The pair has created a special blend of tea for Prince Charles to take home with him.
A lot of research went into making the tea. "Thank god for Google," Renata says. "We've been doing a lot of looking into what the prince likes, what he eats (and) how he eats."
