The school boards in Toronto haven't been able to solve their busing problems.
470 students at the Toronto District school board alone are still affected by a driver shortage in the city.
That's down from 1275, combined with the TDSB and the Catholic Board in Toronto.
But Spokesperson for TDSB Ryan Bird says things aren't getting better as quickly as they would have hoped.
"One of the challenges we've been facing is that new drivers are coming online but existing bus drivers have been leaving. So we've seen some gains, but we've seen some loses as well." says Bird.
More drivers are currently being trained and Bird says that process is believed to take a couple of weeks.
"In some cases students are waiting ten minutes for their bus but in others it could be up to 60 minutes." says Bird.
Taxis are still being used by the boards, however Bird says most of the costs are being picked up by the transportation companies.
That being said, there's still no estimate on when the trouble for parents would finally come to an end.
