All York Region School buses are cancelled
The Peel School boards have cancelled buses in Caledon and Dufferin County.
The Durham boards have cancelled buses in zones 1, 2 and 3 (Brock, Uxbridge and Scugog).
The Halton boards have cancelled buses in Zone 3 (Halton Hills, Georgetown, Acton).
If you're in Barrie, Northern York or Durham Region, you are in the middle of a snow squall warning.
Environment Canada says there's a line a squalls from Lake Huron stretching as far as southern Durham region.
They say snowfall rates could be as high as 5 centimetres per hour.
It looks like this system will stay to the north for much of the day but then push further south this afternoon.
Toronto and southern parts of the GTA could see the tail end between about 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.
We're not expecting much snow; about two to five centimetres.
There is a winter weather travel advisory in effect for Toronto, Halton, Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill, Mississauga, Brampton, and Hamilton.
