Some people say there are actually only two season in Toronto - winter and construction.
Construction season is well underway and the three week closures of a busy downtown intersection punctuates that point.
The TTC is completing upgrades to its streetcar tracks closing the intersection of Queen Street West and McCaul Street, fully closing it to traffic starting Monday morning.
501 streetcars are diverting during the construction between Spadina Avenue, King and Church Streets. 501J and 301L Queen shuttle buses diverting eastbound via John and Adelaide Streets and University Avenue. Westbound via Simcoe, Richmond and John Streets.
The intersection is scheduled to reopen by 6 a.m. on Nov. 6.
