The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Squad, with assistance from Toronto Police Service, is asking for the public’s assistance locating a federal offender wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant
54 year old Richard Weerts is wanted for a breach of his parole.
Weerts is described as 5'9", 168 lbs., with black hair and one brown eye. He is missing his left eye and has a tear drop tattoo underneath it. On his right cheek he has a tomahawk tattoo and has several tattoos on both arms.
He is currently serving a three year and nine month sentence for Robbery and Possession of a Weapon.
Weerts is known to frequent Toronto, Kingston and London.
