It was a story that had hundreds of parents on edge.
A shooting at an after-prom party, held at a mansion in Whitchurch-Stouffville, early on Friday, May 3rd.
That shooting left 18-year-old Rizwaab Aboobaker Wadee, dead.
Despite hundreds of kids at the party, police had no idea who might be responsible, until now.
York Regional Police have issued a Canada-wide warrant for the arrest of 18-year-old Jahdea Paterson, from Toronto, who is wanted for first-degree murder.
He's considered armed and dangerous, and is encouraged to turn himself in.
But police say he's obviously evading capture, and so they are warning anyone who may be helping him get away, that they could be facing criminal charges as well.
Paterson was not a student at Bill Crothers Secondary School in Markham, whose students organized the party, and officers aren't really sure where he could be.
