Certain pickles, berries, subject of CFIA's latest recalls
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is out with two food recall warnings, Saturday.
In the first recall, consumers are warned not to eat a number of different types of Organica brand pickles in olive oil, because they contain mustard that is not declared on the label.
The products - all of which are in 300 gram containers - include:
The products have been distributed throughout Ontario.
The second recall involves Europe's Best brand Field Berry Mixes, and it's because of possible salmonella contamination.
It follows a recall on the products that was announced in another country.
The list of recalled products include the following:
The berries have been sold nationally.
Both groups of products are being removed from the marketplace, but there have been no reports of illnesses associated with either the pickles or the berries.
People who have either the pickles or the berries can return them to the store where they were purchased or throw them out.
