The CFO of a wealth management firm has been fired after video, taken Saturday at Georgetown Golf Club, surfaced online.
It shows a man using a racial slur.
The video was filmed and posted on Instagram by Gursher Dhillon. He tells the Toronto Sun there was tension through the afternoon when he and a friend arrived late to tee-off and were told to join a group already playing. He says the tension didn't boil over until the 18th hole as Dhillon's group was positioned ahead.
Terra Cotta Financial Group says its chief financial officer, Michael Warrington, has been fired. ClubLink says he's been banned from all of their properties.
City News reports Warrington has issued an apology and a promise to do better.
