There's a happy ending to the story of a dog that was stolen when it was tied up outside of a convenience store in the city's east end.
Charlie is a 10-year-old Siberian Huky mix, and was taken on Tuesday from a store near Woodbine and Danforth.
The owners reported the incident to police, providing a description of the two men and one woman who were accused of taking the dog.
On Thursday, a woman who was walking along the boardwalk near Woodbine beach, said she spotted a husky sitting between two posts. Two people were sitting nearby, on some rocks.
When she asked the duo if that was their dog, they mumbled something and left the area.
She'd already taken down the number of the owner, so she called right away.
Charlie was reunited with his family, shortly after noon.
The people who took the dog, still haven't been located, but police are cautioning against the idea of tying up your dog, even if you're just running into a store for a minute.
