It is about to become frigid.
The temperature in Toronto is expected to dip to -13 tonight with a wind chill close to -20.
It's cold enough for the City of Toronto to issue its first Extreme Cold Weather Alert of the season.
The alert activates local services to help get those who are homeless, or otherwise vulnerable, inside.
The city will open a warming centre at Metro Hall by 7 p.m. tonight.
They're also asking you to call 311 to report vulnerable people in need of street outreach.
