Who hasn't been frustrated driving and parking around Yorkdale Mall? The city is trying to fix it.
Toronto has launched a new study aimed at improving the situation for drivers in the area.
Proposals closed earlier this week.
The company that wins the work will have to improve access to the 401, Allen, Dufferin and Yorkdale
They'll also create a vision for the new neighbourhood to be built over the next two decades.
An exact plan hasn't been decided on but it appears the proposed development will be built north and west of the mall on what is now above-ground parking. The parking spots would be moved under ground.
The development could include up to 1,500 homes.
