Hillary Clinton's campaign now says it will take part in a Wisconsin recount of votes cast in the states presidential race.
Wisconsin officials announced late Friday they are moving forward with the first presidential recount in state history.
Wisconsin's election board approved the recount requested by Green party candidate Jill Stein.
Stein says she wants to guarantee the integrity of the voting system.
The Clinton campaign counsel says "We intend to participate in order to ensure the process preceeds in a manner that is fair to all sides."
Stein is also pursuing recounts in Pennsylvania and Michigan, and Clinton officials say they will take part in those if they happen. Even though they say there is no evidence of hacking in any of the three states.
President-elect Donald Trump condemned the growing push to force recounts in three states pivotal to his Nov. 8 victory, confronting the Green Party-backed effort for the first time even as he worked to address key Cabinet vacancies.
Trump, who charged the election was "rigged'' on a daily basis before his victory, called the developing recount effort "a scam'' in a statement released by his transition team Saturday.
He had been ignoring Green Party nominee Jill Stein's fight to revisit vote totals in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania.
"The people have spoken and the election is over,'' Trump declared Saturday. He added, "We must accept this result and then look to the future.''
