The CNE board has put the rubber stamp on a controversial change to its admission policy.
The board voted in favour Wednesday, of charging admission to people with disabilities starting next summer.
They used to get in free but beginning in 2018, they'll get a 50 percent discount instead.
The move had been recommended by the Advisory Council on Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities.
In a release, CNE CEO Virginia Ludy says, "The CNE is announcing a range of new accessibility and inclusivity initiatives that reflect best practices across our city and province."
