Nine days until Election Day in Canada and the Conservatives are holding steady in the lead among decided voters.
But so are the NDP and Yves-Francois Blanchet’s Bloc Québécois.
A new Dart Communcations poll released Saturday morning, shows Andrew Scheer's Conservatives in the lead at 33% of decided voters, with support for Justin Trudeau's Liberals down to 28%.
The real eye opener is in Quebec, where the Bloc gained 9 percent support to 35% and the NDP 5 percent up to 20%.
The Liberals have 27% support in La Belle province, the Conservatives just 18%.
The poll was conducted three days after the leaders english language debate on Monday night.
The news for Trudeau is also not good among young voters.
39% of those 18-34, have now aligned themselves with Jagmeet Singh and the NDP, compared to just 27% for the Liberals, the same demographic that propelled Trudeau to victory four years ago.
The NDP's momentum appears to be Canada wide.
Numbers were not only up in Quebec, but the Maritimes,BC and even Ontario, jumping to 25% with a 7% boost.
But the race for support in Canada's biggest province is a virtual dead heat between Scheer and Trudeau.
The Liberals sit just one percentage point ahead of the Conservatives 33% to 32%.
The DART & Maru/Blue Voice Canada Poll found the undecided vote is 9% (-2) with those who indicate they would not vote totally 5% (+4).
The survey was undertaken via 1,310 randomly selected Canadian adults who are members of Maru/Blue’s Voice Canada Online panel on October 9, 2019 and is considered accurate to within +/- 3.1 percentage points.
