The Toronto Police officer convicted in the attempted murder of Sammy Yatim will have to report to prison on Monday, after having his bail revoked.
Const. James Forcillo was arrested on November 15th after being found at a residence that had not been approved under his bail conditions.
As a result, the Attorney General had filed an application to have Forcillo's bail revoked on the attempted murder charge.
Forcillo was found guilty of the attempted murder charge in January 2016 and sentenced to six years in jail. He was out on bail pending his appeal.
His bail conditions included having to live with his surety who is now his ex-wife.
Officers allegedly found him at his fiance's apartment this month and took him into custody.
