Another cyclist and vehicle accident in the city of Toronto Tuesday.
But the impact didn't come from a moving vehicle, it came from a moving bike that struck a parked delivery van in a residential area of Don Mills earlier this afternoon.
the cyclist reportedly drove the bike into the back of the parked van.
Toronto police 33 division were called to the area of Laurentide Drive and Minorca Place just after 3 p.m.
When they arrived they found a male victim in his 60's was unconscious and not breathing. The victim was transported to a trauma centre at Sunnybrook hospital.
Katrina Arrogante of Toronto police Corporate Communications confirmed to Newstalk 1010 that police continue to investigate the accident.
"The scene is still under investigation as to what to the exact cause of death was of the victim. We still have to identify him as well."
Arrogante added that to this point no charges have been laid against the driver, who remained on scene.
"There's still a few factors to be determined."
