A cyclist was rushed to hospital with serious injuries after what police are calling a possible fail-to-remain collision in Etobicoke Saturday morning.
Sgt. Phillip Sinclair told CP24 a driver and cyclist were travelling north on Kipling Avenue near Rathburn Road around 9:45 a.m. when some sort of an "interaction" took place.
The driver left the scene after the cyclist went off the road and hit a pole at a high rate of speed, according to police.
Sinclair said "It is very unclear whether there was contact or not but whatever happened resulted in the cyclist leaving the roadway."
Police are collecting eveidence at the scene and asking anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them.
