There was lots of criticism when it came to the new charcoal grey police cruisers, rolled out in Toronto over the summer.
So much so, that Chief Mark Saunders decided to halt the process of repainting the cars, until they could further consult with residents and stakeholders.
But, on Tuesday, the city of Barrie took the wraps off their new cruisers, which are even darker and more stealthy than the ones seen in Toronto.
According to CTV in Barrie, the darker shade is getting a mixed review from both residents and councillors.
Both Toronto and Barrie had white cars before making the switch. Toronto has since decided to stick with white, for now.
