Peel Police are trying to solve a mystery.
Was there a baby born in a city park? It certainly looks that way.
Police say they were called around 3:50 p.m. Monday to Sugar Maple Woods Park near Winston Churchill and Britannia.
They say someone walking their dog came across quite a scene: blood, evidence of child birth and forceps.
Police have been canvassing the neighbourhood but they have not been able to find the mother or the baby.
They're asking anyone with information to call the Criminal Investigation Bureau at (905) 453-2121 Ext 1133 or Peel Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
