Toronto Police are looking to speak with anyone who may have seen what happened on Saturday evening between two Toronto Officers and a man in an SUV who allegedly ran them down.
The initial report suggests the officers had the vehicle stopped on Baldwin, west of Spadina at around 8:20pm.
But it was during that stop, that the driver took off, injuring the arm of one officer, and the leg of another.
They jumped up and got on their bikes, where they officers followed the vehicle southbound on Spadina Avenue.
The vehicle continued southbound on the Spadina Avenue streetcar tracks, in an attempt to get away.
After turning on King Street West, the SUV made a U-Turn to head back east on King, driving directly at the officers, knocking one to the ground and running over his bike.
Cops later found the vehicle, a 2003 Honda Pilot with Alberta plates, and the driver.
Now they are looking for witnesses.
Investigators would like to ask the public to view the attached video, and review any of their personal cellular, video surveillance footage, or in-car dash camera footage, to determine if any of these incidents were captured.
