Toronto Police say they're concerned about a school-aged child who was spotted walking alone in the city's east end just before 10 p.m. on Sunday.
A concerned citizen called officers after spotting the boy - believed to be between 10 and 12 years old - walking around near Danforth and Carlaw in a t-shirt, shorts and no shoes.
The individual approached the boy and asked if he was okay, and the boy responded by saying he was fine.
After asking the question several times, the boy eventually ran away.
Police tell NEWSTALK1010 this was the only report they received about the child and they have no other information.
The boy is described as 5'0" with a thin build, wearing a black t-shirt with "Nike" and its symbol on the front, black or dark blue sports shorts with a white stripe, and white socks with grey bottoms.
Anyone who knows who the boy is asked to call police at 55 Division, at 416-808-5500.
