Here's someone who likely won't be getting the Order of Canada anytime soon.
York Regional Police say it was back on April 22nd, a Sunday evening around 6 o'clock, when an 81-year-old man bumped into a man, who was riding his skateboard on the sidwalk of Main Street in Newmarket.
During that bump, the suspect spilled his drink.
Police say the suspect challenged the elderly man, to pay for a new drink, proceeding to follow him on his skateboard.
Officers say it wasn't long before patience wore off, and the suspect allegedly spat on the man, and then punched him in the face, causing him to fall.
The elderly man suffered only minor injuries, and refused medical care at the scene.
But now police would like to find the person they feel is responsible.
"I'm hoping that people are going to possibly know this individual, know someone who knows this person. Maybe some of the businesses in the area may recognize him, if he's local to the area, and they'll call our investigators." says Constable Marina Orlovski with York Regional Police.
