Toronto Animal Services have been able to reunite a dog, found cowering under a TTC bus, with its family.
The injured dog was found early Sunday morning, near Warden and Eglinton. After being hit by a car, the dog sought refuge under a bus.
Eventually, the animal was coaxed out and taken to a vet, where it recieved treatment.
The problem was, the dog had no collar and had no identification tags.
However, there's a happy ending to this story, with Toronto Animal Services saying they were able to use a lost dog report, to track down the rightful owners.
The dog had some injuries to its leg but is expected to make a full recovery.
It’s a happy ending, Toronto! This dog was injured and found under a TTC bus on Saturday. We located the owner from a lost report, and are happy to announce that the dog was picked up from our East Shelter this morning.
