Even Toronto Police say they are shocked by this one.
A 21-year-old woman is facing a total of 10 charges, including attempted murder, after allegedly shooting at a pedestrian with a shotgun.
It happened in the Shuter and Jarvis area early Friday morning, when police say the driver of a car got into an arguement with a pedestrian.
Cops say it escalated to the point where the woman grabbed a shotgun from the trunk of her car, and opened fire. She missed the intended target, but struck a 69-year-old man and a second pedestrian.
Both are expected to survive.
Police say none of those involved in the incident knew each other.
Investigators say a suspect was identified and search warrants resulted in the seizure of drugs, a large quantity of cash and drug paraphernalia.
A Toronto woman was arrested on Saturday and faces charges that include attempted murder, pointing a firearm, assault with a weapon, aggravated assault, and various weapons and drug-related counts.
