Police in Mississauga are still trying to find answers after the suspicious deaths of three men inside a condo unit Wednesday afternoon.
Peel Regional Police spokesperson Const. Heather Cannon said police responded to the building in the area of Burnhamthorpe and Hurontario around 1:30 p.m., and three men in their late 20s were found dead inside.
The coroner deemed the deaths suspicious and homicide investigators have taken over.
A fourth man was found inside the unit and was taken to hospital as a precaution. But when he got there, his condition deteriorated and was listed as serious yesterday evening. The latest from police indicates he remains in serious condition but is listed as stable.
Cannon says all four men know each other but it's not clear if they all live together in the unit.
Officers found drugs laced with another substance at the scene, which police believe played a part in the deaths.
Investigators say there may have been a get together at the home on Tuesday night and more people may have taken the same drugs.
