Police in Durham Region are searching for the driver of a vehicle that allegedly hit two cyclists in Oshawa and fled the scene.
Police say it happened around 12:45 a.m. Sunday in the Cedar Street and Wentworth Street area.
The Honda Civic brushed beside one cyclist and collided with the other.
Initially the car stopped and both the driver and passenger got out and went over the injured cyclist, but reportedly they ran back to the vehicle and fled the area.
A 21-year-old man was rushed to a local hospital then transferred to a trauma centre in Toronto with what are believed to be serious injuries.
The other cyclist, an 18-year-old man suffered minor injuries.
The woman driving the car is described as white with shoulder lenth hair. The passenger is a white male, believed to be in his 30s, around 5'8'' with a heavy build.
The car is described as a white newer model Honda Civic. It has damage to the front passenger side bumper and may also have damage to the hood and windshield.
