We know that more and more young people are vaping but it seems the problem has become so bad that officials have had to hand out tickets.
Public schools in Durham are cracking down.
CBC News reports that in 2018, tobacco enforcement officers handed out only two tickets to students in Durham. This year, from January to September, there were 130 complaints and 15 tickets.
Students are reportedly vaping in school hallways, classrooms and bathrooms.
