Peel police have arrested eight people in connection to the death of a 28-year-old Mississauga man last year.
In March, Shane Thomas was found with multiple gun shot wounds outside an apartment complex on Mississauga Valley Blvd, Hurontario St and Burnhamthorpe Rd.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Both the homicide and missing persons departments were investigating the shooting, and carried out six search warrants in three different cities on Thursday.
Eight people have been arrested. 23-year-old Victor Brooks and 24-year-old Shantel Manbauman have been charged with first-degree murder. Six other people have been charged with accessory after the fact.
