During a nearly two week stretch from late March through April, Peel Regional, Toronto and York Regional police responded to a combined 8 robberies. Five were at banks, two at financial service companies and one at a commercial business.
Turns out all 8 were hit by the same person.
On Friday, Region of Peel Investigators from the Central Robbery Bureau with assistance from 21 Division Uniform Patrol,arrested a 21 year-old male.
Lav Chopra of Brampton, was arrested and charged with eight counts of Robbery and eight counts of Disguise with Intent.
Chopra was held for a bail hearing that took place Saturday at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
