An elderly woman originally injured on a TTC bus back in May has died of her injuries.
The 82 year old was riding on westbound bus on Steeles avenue west of Kennedy on May 29th at around 9:34 am.
The female driver of the TTC bus was forced to apply the brakes when police allege a white pick up truck going in the same direction changed lanes and continued westbound on Steeles Avenue.
The elderly woman fell on the bus and was rushed to hospital suffering life-threatening injuries.
Police confirm the victim succumb to her injuries last Thursday.
Police are seeking assistance locating the vehicle and driver involved in this incident.
The pick up truck is described as a white Ford Super Cab pick-up truck with construction-type equipment in the box or cargo area of the truck. The driver is described as male.
Police are asking the 30-35 people who were on bus #1257 (the 53 Steeles East route) at the time, to contact investigators.
Police are also asking local residents, businesses, and drivers, who may have security or dash camera footage of the area or incident, to contact investigators.
