Alleged killer-nurse Elizabeth Wettlaufer will appear in a Woodstock courtroom on Wednesday amid new questions about whether any of her alleged victims could have been saved.
The 49-year-old is accused in the alleged murders of eight people and the alleged attempted murders of four others.
Seven of the victims died at Caressant Care home in Woodstock.
The Toronto Star reports it has obtained documents that show Wettlaufer was fired from Caressant Care for a medication error in March of 2014.
Her firing was reported to the College of Nurses of Ontario, as is the case when any registered nurse is fired.
Still, she worked as a registered nurse until she was charged in October of 2016.
The documents reportedly show that the college received the termination notice and said it was considering the information to determine what action should be taken.
Wettlaufer is accused of killing 75-year-old Arpad Horvath in London five months after her firing, as well as alleged attempted murders in September 2015 and August 2016.
