Ellen DeGeneres has some high praise for Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
The talk show host called Trudeau an "inspiration" in a tweet for his apology to persecuted LGBTQ Canadians.

She retweeted Trudeau's tweets about Canada's historic House of Commons apology to her 75.9 million Twitter followers.

Trudeau apologized Tuesday on behalf of the federal government for perpetrating decades of discrimination against members of the LGBTQ community.
During the apology Trudeau said "It is with shame and sorrow and deep regret for the things we have done that I stand here today and say: We were wrong. We apologize. I am sorry. We are sorry."
