Instead of a lost wallet or some keys, a couple of friends in Toronto found tons of drugs and other paraphanelia in a rental car.
The discovery happened Friday afternoon in downtown Toronto when a man was helping his friend move, after booking a vehicle from a car-sharing company.
The man tells the Night Side on NEWSTALK1010 when they got to the car, they found a bag inside.
"Plenty of drugs," he said, identifying himself as James. "Not only that, important documents with an individual's name and you could see identification and all sorts of information."
He said they left the vehicle, called the car-sharing service immediately and are waiting to hear back from police.
"I've watched enough Breaking Bad and Narcos to see what it was," he said. "Obviously someone really sketchy had been driving this car and there's a lot of sketchy stuff in the vehicle which I'd like to give more detail to the police, not necessarily on the radio."
James said he and his friend could have easily been started driving the car without noticing the bag.
"Usually if you open up a bag, there might be a wallet and some sort of identification, and of course we did not expect to see all that," he said.
