A family from London, ON claims that Air Canada didn't do enough to help a 6 year-old girl get to Philadelphia for what's being called "life-saving treatment."
6 year-old Hayden has leukemia and had an appointment at a clinic on Tuesday morning.
Her flight (she was travelling with her mother and aunt) was cancelled during the weekend ice storm, and her family and their friends accuse the airline of not doing enough to get the girl on a plan to Philadelphia.
Family friend Jennifer Cole exclusively tells Moore in the Morning all other flights to the city were booked after the cancellation. She claims Air Canada did almost nothing to help.
Cole believes if the airline had told passengers about the girl's situation, some people would have given up their seats.
The girl did make it to Philadelphia on time for her appointment after her family drove their overnight.
After Cole posted on Facebook about the problem, Air Canada reached out to offer help, and according to Cole, the airline could help by offering the girl's father to Philadelphia a chance to fly for free to be with his daughter.
NEWSTALK 1010 has reached out to Air Canada for a response but had not heard back by the time the story was posted.
