Environment Canada has issued an Extreme Cold Warning for the Greater Toronto Area.
The weather agency is predicting windchill values will make it feel colder than minus 30 degrees Celsius Wednesday night.
In order for an extreme cold warning to be issued, a windchill of minus 30 needs to be on the horizon.
Tonight's low for the GTA is minus 22 but will feel more like minus 30.
Environment Canada is reminding you to dress warmly, in layers and that it only takes a few minutes for frostbite to set in on expose skin.
Meteorologist Peter Kimbell expects the warning to be lifted tomorrow.
