The city of Toronto has issued its second Extreme Cold Weather Alert of the week, as another chilly front moves into the GTA.
According to Environment Canada, temperatures will plummet to -15 C Saturday overnight into Sunday, with a windchill of - 21 C on Sunday morning.
Toronto's Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Eileen de Villa, says it's important that homeless people are able to seek shelter and it's an important time to check up on seniors.
Metro Hall's warming centre will open at 7 p.m. Saturday and stay open until noon on the day the alert is cancelled.
Extreme cold alerts are issued when the temperature falls to or below - 15 C and the windchill drops to - 20 C or colder.

Warmer weather is forecasted to move into the GTA by Monday, with a daytime high of - 1 C under sunny skies.
