The family has released the identity of one of the two girls killed in the Danforth Shooting, as 18-year-old Reese Fallon.
MP Nathaniel Erskine-Smith, says the family is "devastated" and are asking for privacy.
According to CTV, Erskine-Smith would only say that the family asked him to provided the media with their daughter's name and photo.
However, later on Monday, we learned Fallon was getting ready to study nursing at McMaster University this fall.
She was also becoming politically active and marched in June's Pride Parade carrying rainbow Liberal signs.
Just a few weeks ago, she was posing for photos with friends at her high school graudation.
A family friend, Julie Steel, tells NEWSTALK1010 is hoping to start a scholarship fund in memory of Reese, giving a set amount of money to a Malvern Collegiate student who intends to study nursing. A gofundme page has been set up to raise money for the scholarship.
