Fire crews remain on scene, trying to douse the flames at York Memorial Collegiate this morning.
Officials say progress was made overnight but they expect to be there through the day today.
There are still no details on the cause of the fire or the extent of the damage.
The TDSB announced on Moore in the Morning that parents will be able to take their children to class this morning at three nearby schools evacuated yesterday because of the smoke.
Charles E Webster PS, Silverthorn CS, and Keelesdale JPS will be open today after air quality tests showed no major concerns.
There will be no classes today for students at York Memorial or George Harvey Collegiate (where students had been sent yesterday).
The school board told NEWSTALK 1010 a long term plan for the students has not been finalized but a decision is expected either today or tomorrow.
A spokesperson for the TDSB says it appears George Harvey does have room to accommodate the approximately 900 students from York Memorial and at the very least, those students will spend a few days or a week or two there while the long term plan is prepared.
