A fire at a horse barn in Milton, that killed five animals, appears to be accidental.
The fire was first reported just before two o'clock on Friday morning, at the First Line Training Centre, east of Tremaine Road and north of the 407.
When crews responded they were able to pull 38 of the 40 horses out of the burning building, however three were later put down because of their injuries.
The horses are used at both Woodbine and Mohawk racetracks.
Officials are looking toward a tractor, whose block heater that was plugged into the barn, as a possble cause.
However, they are continuing to investigate.
This fire happened in the same area as a barn fire in 2016, that killed 44 horses.
