The good news: It's going to warm up today. The bad news: It'll bring rain with it.
We're expecting a high of 11 today and the combination of rain and melting snow could lead to potential flooding.
The Toronto and Region Conservation Authority has issued a flood outlook.
They say, "Many of TRCA's rivers and streams have full ice cover. The rise in water levels from rainfall and snowmelt could result in a break-up of the ice. Since many rivers and streams currently have partial to full ice-cover, the rainfall and snowmelt may potentially lead to ice-jams and localized flooding near culverts, bridge piers, and meanders."
They also say riverbanks could be slippery and unstable.
The forecast calls for showers to arrive in Toronto early this afternoon with possible thunderstorms through the evening and overnight.
