Parts of line one of Toronto's subway system were still closed into the morning rush hour on Thursday, because of flooding.
At one point there was as much as three feet of water in the tunnel at Sheppard West station.
That meant the trains weren't operating between Finch West and Wilson stations.
44 shuttle buses were being used instead.
The TTC says after being shut down all day on Wednesday, crews worked through the night to get rid of the water. That was done early Thursday morning, but because all of the equipment had just had a 24-hour bath, it needed to be checked.
Officials hoped to have it re-opened by 7:30 on Thursday morning.
