The Ford government is dealing with new accusations over autism funding.
Newly surfaced government documents reportedly show that the ministry froze funding for treatment back in October, keeping service providers from taking on new clients.
Providers were reportedly told to keep parents in the dark.
Families accuse the government of intentionally inflating the wait list for treatment in order to justify it's new funding model.
Social Services Minister Lisa MacLeod denies the accusations, calling them a "conspiracy theory."
She says there was no money left for the program when she was appointed minister and that service providers were told to honour their existing commitments but to stick to their budgets.
