Another voice is stepping forward to accept some of the blame for the horrible state of long term care in this province.
George Smitherman was the Minister of Health and Long Term Care from 2003 to 2008, under former Premier Dalton McGuinty.
Speaking on NEWSTALK 1010's The Jerry Agar show, Smitherman says he accepts some of the blame but he insists that when he was minister, the province poured a billion dollars into long term care and added 3,000 workers.
"I don't know what's happened since 2008, I really don't," Smitherman said.
