Toronto Police are investigating a number of incidents late Saturday evening and overnight that left four people with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Investigators were first called to Sheppard Ave. west of Meadowvale in Scarborough at about 10:30 p.m., where a man climbed aboard a TTC bus and said he had been shot.
Const. David Hopkinson told NEWSTALK1010 the man had been drinking quite heavily and lost consciousness after receiving a stab wound to the head.
'It turns out that our victim had been robbed, somewhere on or in relation to a bar, restaurant or club that was in the area," he said. "He had a fairly serious injury."
"He regained consciousness and then began to walk to different areas to try and get help."

Hopkinson says police continue to search for both suspects and witnesses.
Meantime, just before midnight at the other end of the city, police were called to the Keele and Bloor area for a robbery at a fast food restaurant.
The male suspect jumped the counter and Hopkinson said he "produced a sharp object that he used to threaten and to rob the store."
After trying to flee in a taxi, officers were able to track the suspect and the taxi down and he was arrested a short distance away from the scene.
"The weapon has been recovered," Hopkinson said. "He's going to be charged with quite a number of different offences."
No one was hurt.
And just after 3 a.m. Sunday, police received a call about a stabbing victim found near Bathurst and College.
"Our officers arrived on scene [and] found a man suffering multiple stab wounds," Hopkinson said. "His injuries appeared to be fairly serious, where he is now listed in stable condition."
Hopkinson says the investigation has revealed the victim was in an altercation with two other men, who fled the scene.
One of the suspects is described as male, black, in his mid 20's and about 5'5". He was last seen wearing a red varsity jacket, and has gold teeth and corn rows.
Hopkinson believes the man is known to investigators.
Meantime, in a fourth incident, police have arrested and plan to lay charges against two men, after they were found outside a bar near Eglinton and Brimley with stab wounds before 11 p.m. Saturday.
In the case, the victims are the suspects and are believed to have gotten into a fight with one another. Both were taken to hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
