Four boys have been arrested by Toronto Police and are facing very serious charges linked to swarmings in a couple of parks.
A swarming is when a group of people all attack one person at the same time, mugging them.
Two boys, 17 years old, and two boys, 15 years old, are no strangers to the law.
Between the four of them 14 charges of failing to comply with previous court orders have been laid.
They are accused of targetting people walking through Christie Pits and Dufferin Grove Parks over a span of six days this month.
"In some instances they did hold victims by knifepoint," says Cst. Caroline De Kloet.
She says one of the boys also allegedly indicated he had a handgun.
Fifty-four charges, in total, have been laid including robbery with a weapon.
