A public funeral was held Saturday morning for Kaden Young, the toddler who went missing in the midst of floodwaters near Orangeville over the winter.
According to tweets from the OPP, about 200 people came out to the Compass Community Church in Mono to pay their respects to the boy's family.
Young, 3, was swept away into the Grand River on February 21 after his mother's vehicle got caught in floodwaters.
After two months of daily searches organized by officials and members of the local community, the boy's body was discovered by a fisherman on April 21.
Kaden's mother posted a thank you note on Facebook the following day, announcing that funeral details would be announced in the coming days.
A public vigil was held on April 25 in Belwood.
