If you're planning any road trips for the last stretch of August, you might want to fill up your tank sooner rather than later.
Gas prices are on their way up because of a big storm headed for the U.S. Gulf coast.
Hurricane Harvey is expected to make landfall late Friday or early Saturday in Texas.
Dan McTeague with GasBuddy.com points out this is a refinery-rich area which produces half of U.S. gasoline, so the storm could have a big effect.
Several refineries have already shut down ahead of the storm, and McTeague predicts more will follow suit.
He says gas prices in the GTA will go up 1 cent Saturday morning to 113.9, to 115.9 by Sunday morning, and could go up to 118 or 119 by the end of next week.
