A Mississauga mom calls an assignment from her son's drama teacher, "mind boggling."

Delight Greenidge's son is in eighth grade at Erin Mills Middle School and she says he came home with a handout that included detailed instructions on how to make and inject crystal meth.

"The handout starts with listing about a dozen ingredients," she tells NEWSTALK 1010's Moore in the Morning, "acetone and sodium hydroxide and red phosphorous and ether and anti freeze."

She says it goes on to list the items one would need to make and use the drug and includes step-by-step instructions.

Greenidge says she can't understand the benefit of the assignment, "because if it's for drama, I can't then apply a social aspect or science aspect to it."

The teacher has been suspended with pay while the school investigates.
