"Be safe out there."
That's what Todd Orr said to the camera before shutting off his video, and driving himself to the hospital.
That was after he was attacked by a grizzly bear in Montana.
A battered and blood-streaked Orr, says in a video he shot on his way to the hospital that ``Life sucks in bear country.''
Orr posted video, photos and a narrative about Saturday's attack in southwestern Montana on his Facebook page. Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks spokesman Ron Aasheim confirmed Monday that Orr was attacked.
Orr says a grizzly sow with two cubs charged him and bit his arms and shoulders as he protected his neck.
Orr says he tried to make his way down the trail after the bear left, but it re-appeared and bit him on the upper body and head.
He says he was eventually able to hike 3 miles to his truck and drove himself to a hospital.
